Develop longstanding online marketing relationships with emerging small businesses, focusing on groups of companies within the same industry and market. Research and survey software needs and uses common to each industry through client relationships.

Once a significant client portfolio has been built for a given industry, develop speculative software that fills needs common to the client needs in that industry. Market new software using the software-as-a-service model to previous clients within said industry. Improve software continuously to enhance clients' ROI, retain income, and improve interest with potential leads by word-of-mouth.

Continuously repeat cycle within all industries, using improving brand name as a selling point.

Roy became interested in software engineering at the age of 11. He began freelancing as a Perl programmer at only 15 years old and also worked on several open-source C/C++ projects during that period.

After graduating high school, he joined the US Air Force, where he served as a combat communications technician for satellite and wide-band systems in Pakistan during the Afghanistan war. He later served in South Korea. Whenever not deployed, he freelanced on the side, in his spare time, as a software developer.

Upon finishing his enlistment, he moved to San Diego and worked briefly for VersaCall Technologies as a component-level electronics device assemblyman, RMA technician, and shipping manager.

Later he found a position more towards his calling within Complete Online Marketing Solutions as a LAMP programmer and IT administrator - working mainly on a service management platform for sensitive data.

In 2008, he freelanced for roughly six months before working for a classifieds software company called Adicio. There he took a position as a Senior Software Developer with a focus on high-speed, high-availability, scalable, distributed data processing software and API creation.

In January of 2010 he went his own away, this time not as a freelancer but as a full-fledged software development company owner and main programmer - creating Roy Laurie Software.
